Aztec Tattoos in Los Angeles

Aztec imagery is where Goethe Silva has spent most of the last thirty years. The Sun Stone, Quetzalcoatl, Tlaloc, Coatlicue, Xiuhcoatl, Huehueteotl — drawn from the codices and the stonework rather than from other people’s tattoos, then rebuilt to sit properly on the body.

Work here spans blackwork, black and grey realism, and full color codex pieces. Every design is drawn for the individual client and the placement it’s going on. Private studio in Los Angeles, by appointment only.
